Transit Oriented Development
Rainier Vista Follows a New Model for Urban Communities
Rainier Vista has been built on a new model for urban communities, called Transit Oriented Development (TOD), which is designed to help people rely less on their cars by providing easy access to alternative forms of transportation. Like this new model, Rainier Vista is a community with a rich tapestry of restaurants, shopping and services, all within easy walking distance or easily accessible by bicycle, light rail and other modes of public transit. Like other new transit oriented communities, Rainier Vista features a variety of housing for a wide variety of income levels, plus community support services and many opportunities for local small businesses.
In the Heart of Rainier Valley
Located in the heart of the Rainier Valley, Rainier Vista residents have easy access to the all of the area’s attractions, including Columbia City’s BeatWalks, Farmer’s Markets and ArtWalks.
