Meeting Neighbors & Walkable Neighborhood
Designed for Walking & Meeting Neighbors
Rainier Vista has been designed as a master-planned community with an emphasis on creating a diverse, sustainable neighborhood that provides its residents with a healthy, vibrant and connected lifestyle. Front porch architecture creates “eyes on the street” and enhances a friendly setting where it’s easier to meet neighbors and make friends. Here you will find wide sidewalks along tree-lined streets, parks, playgrounds and open spaces that encourage you to get out and enjoy walking and meeting your neighbors. Because Rainier Vista sits right in the heart of the Rainier Valley, its residents benefit from living in one of the most ethnically and culturally diverse communities in the US.
A Community Vision Comes Alive
Visit Rainier Vista, Phase 1, on the west side of Martin Luther King Jr Way, just north of S. Alaska St. and you will see a community vision that has come alive. Walk the wonderful streets of Phase 1 to experience this for yourself. While Phase 2 is now under major construction, Phase 1 demonstrates what the new phase can become. Right now, in Phase 2, on the east side of Martin Luther King Jr. Way, all streets are complete. Parks and Seattle Housing homes will be complete by mid-2012. For sale homes, some of which feature rich finishings and deep green technologies, are in construction and available now. Visit soon! We don’t want you to miss out.
Planned Homeowners Association
Beginning in 2012, homeowners will have an opportunity to volunteer and contribute to building the community through the new Homeowners Association. Primary goals of the Homeowners Association will be to ensure the community and home values are safe, clean and well-maintained. You’ll find many projects of interest where you can lend a hand.
